Dr Uncles saw me just before my recent operation and explained the process he was to adopt and the risks. I found him supportive and reassuring. I have had a number of operations and he seemed to be one of the more approachable Anaesthetists. After the operation I experienced no discomfort in my mouth or throat which has not always been the case.

Dr Uncles was reassuring and took the time to explain what would happened with the anaesthetic and the procedure. He listened to my concerns and answered all the questions that I had.

David Uncles visited me prior to surgery and gave adequate reassurance with regard to his method of applying the anesthetic, my oral cavity is abnormal as the result of much past surgery and failed reconstruction. I was happy with his care, he made the process a non event for me which was a great relief.
I would commend him to anyone.

I am a specialist Anaesthetist with interests in Obstetric, Ambulatory and Inpatient anaesthesia. I employ a variety of anaesthetic techniques including general or regional anaesthesia, although I often use them in combination to optimise and enhance patients' peri and post-operative experience.
I am dedicated to putting the patient first through the provision of safe and reassuring care delivered in conjunction with my colleagues and associates.
I was present at the inauguration of the Helsinki Declaration in June 2010. This enshrines the values essential to the promotion of the highest professional and safety standards expected of anaesthetists. It is my hope to match or even exceed the expectations of patients who place their trust in me.
